Referring to Mr. May's Despatch
No. 157 of 12th. June, 1907, I have the honour to transmit
6
copies of the Report on the Post Office for the year
1907.
2.
The Report discloses increases
generally in the various branches of business transacted
by the Post Office. Revenue amounted to $445,420 and Ex-
-penditure to $366,452, a rise of $24,966 and $6,968
respectively, due in the one case to increased sales of
stamps at Hongkong and the Agencies and in the other to
the payment of salaries at 2 shillings and to increments
accrued.

I append a statement showing the
Revenue,
Expenditure, Profit or Loss on working extracted
from previous Reports and Military Contribution for the
last decade: -
